You are fearfully and wonderfully made.
Psalm 139:14
I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. (WEB)
Do you ever look in the mirror and wish you were different? Maybe you are too short or too tall, too thin or too heavy. The list never seems to end. Don’t believe the lie that you have to look and act a certain way in order to be accepted.
Your heavenly Father made you exactly the way He planned: your size, the color of your eyes—everything about you. The next time you look in the mirror, don’t be afraid of what you see, for you were made in the image of God, and He declares that you are fearfully and wonderfully made.
PRAYER
Father, forgive me for believing the lie that I have to be somebody other than who I am. The fact that You love and accept me is more important than love and acceptance from anyone else. I am thankful that I am Your child and that I am perfect in Your sight. Amen.
