For I am your greatest encourager.
2 Thessalonians 2:16-17
16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, 17 comfort your hearts and establish you in every good work and word. (WEB)
Father God is your greatest encourager! He has not come to condemn you but to encourage you. He speaks hope into the deepest part of your being. He stands on the sidelines cheering you on as you race down the field of life. His shouts of encouragement provide you with all the strength you will need in order to finish the race that was uniquely charted for you.
PRAYER
Father, thank You for Your loving glance and encouraging words. I know that You want to see me finish well. Thank You for running the race of life alongside of me and for picking me up whenever I fall down. I am especially thankful that through Your Son, Jesus, I have been empowered to run the race that You have laid out for me. Amen.
