When you are brokenhearted, I am close to you.
Psalm 34:18
Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. (WEB)
At your greatest time of need, when you feel the most alone, Father God is very close to you. When your heart is broken in pieces, He is very near, bringing comfort and healing. You may not always feel His presence during difficult times, but He is with you nonetheless. Father’s heart is deeply moved with compassion for you, and He wants to revive you when you are crushed in your spirit.
PRAYER
Father, when I am bruised and broken, I am encouraged to know that You are near. I pray that I might allow Your arms of love to surround me in the midst of my brokenness and despair. I know that during the most difficult seasons in my life, You are close to me. Thank You for drawing near to me and for saving me in my greatest time of need. Amen.
