My question is… will you be my child?
John 1:12-13
12 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name: 13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (WEB)
Have you received the gift of God’s only Son, or have you put off that decision? It is your choice to make. Father God is not willing that even one person should reject this precious gift, but He will never overpower your freedom of choice.
This gift is freely given and it must be freely received. Being born of God is the most wonderful experience that can ever happen to a human being. It is the ultimate homecoming that you have been created for: to be welcomed as a son or a daughter in Father God’s glorious family.
PRAYER
Father, I want to be Your child. I believe that Jesus Christ died for me, and I gladly receive Him as my Savior and Lord. Thank You, Jesus, for being obedient to Your Father’s will by dying on the cross for me. Thank You for taking upon Yourself my sin and my shame. I turn from my own way of doing things. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus. Today I am coming home! Amen.
