Love, Your Dad
Almighty God.
This signature expresses both the majesty of a holy God and the tenderness of a loving Father. There is a tendency to gravitate toward one concept of God or the other. But the truth is that both concepts are correct. For you are infinitely loved by One who is righteous and omnipotent yet who also is tender and abounding in love.
The Almighty God is also your Heavenly Dad! The One who created the heavens and the earth took the time to knit you together in your mother’s womb. The One who makes nations tremble and who holds the hearts of kings in His hands wants you to come close to Him to hear the beating of His heart. What an awesome heavenly Father!
PRAYER
Dear Father, You are Almighty God, and yet You are the loving Father I have been looking for all my life. I receive Your gift of love expressed through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Thank You for making me a coheir with Your Son, Jesus, in Your glorious inheritance. I will be ever grateful that I am loved and accepted as Your child. Amen.
