You may not know me, but I know everything about you.
Psalm 139:1
Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. (WEB)
Your Father knows you intimately. He knows your darkest fears and your brightest dreams. His love for you is higher and deeper and wider than any other love you have ever experienced in your entire life. The love that you are familiar with is usually conditional and based upon performance.
But thanks be to God that His love is not an earthly love; it is divine in nature and not based upon your personal goodness but rather upon His goodness and mercy. Yes, your Father knows you, and He loves you with all His heart.
PRAYER
Father, You know everything about me. You see all my bumps and bruises, yet You love me unconditionally. I thank You that Jesus paid the price for all my inadequacies so that I might come to You with complete confidence. I thank You that even though You know all about me and my shortcomings, You still love me as Your little child. Help me to walk in Your extravagant love today. Amen.
