I know when you sit down and when you rise up.
Psalm 139:2
You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. (WEB)
Your heavenly Father is intimately involved in every area of your life no matter how insignificant you might think it is. He is with you when you go to work; He is present when you play; and He watches over you when you sleep.
No task that you set out to do in your daily routine is too mundane for your Father to take notice of. He has promised never to leave you or forsake you. Though God is seated on His throne in heaven, He takes the time to watch over you because you are the object of His affection.
PRAYER
Loving Father, You know everything about me. You watch over me twenty-four hours a day. You are everywhere all at once. I thank You that You are with me even in the most mundane aspects of my daily routine. I pray that as I go about my everyday activities, I will recognize Your abiding presence in all that I do. Thank You that You are never too busy to take time for me. Amen.
