Meditation 4
I am familiar with all your ways.
Psalm 139:3
You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. (WEB)
Father God is fully acquainted with all that you are and all that you do. But the Father of all creation also wants you to see Him for who He really is. He wants you to know His Father-heart. To become intimate with someone requires vulnerability. That is why God made the first move to win your heart by sending His own dear Son to demonstrate His desire to be in a right relationship with you. When you receive the gift of God’s Son into your life, you become an
intimate partaker of the same divine relationship that Jesus enjoys with His Father.
PRAYER
Father, I thank You for being familiar with all my ways. I believe that You understand everything about me, yet You still love me extravagantly. I want to know You, Father, more intimately than I have ever known You before. I want to begin to see into Your heart and to understand all Your ways. I pray this in the name of Your beloved Son, Jesus, who died on my behalf. Amen.
