He is the exact representation of my being.
Hebrews 1:3
His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, who, when he had by himself purified us of our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high, (WEB)
When Jesus walked this earth, many people had a distorted image of the true nature of God. It is no different today than it was 2,000 years ago. Many still suffer from false beliefs about God’s character. Jesus came to dispel those false beliefs and to truly reveal His Father’s heart. If you want to know what your heavenly Father is really like, just look into the eyes of Jesus and let His love melt away all your misconceptions.
PRAYER
Father, thank You for sending Your only Son, Jesus, to show me what You are really like. I believe that He is the exact representation of Your being and the radiance of Your glory. Help me to see Your Father’s heart in every compassionate act of love and mercy that Jesus demonstrated. Amen.
