And I’ll take away all the pain you have suffered on this earth.
Revelation 21:4
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away.” (WEB)
If there is one common denominator to be found in the world over the course of history, it is the presence of physical and emotional pain in people’s lives. Suffering is a normal part of human existence. It touches nearly every family. But your heavenly Father has prepared a place for His children where pain and suffering will be extinct.
Instead of pain there will be the fullness of love and goodness. As one of His favored children, you will luxuriate in the sunshine of His Father-love, and you will never again know the shadow of suffering and loss. Its memory will be lost in the halls of eternity.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, I so much look forward to that day when there will be no more pain and suffering, when I will be surrounded by Your loving presence. But so many of my loved ones do not know about this place that You have prepared. Help me, Lord, to be a better communicator of Your love and grace to those who are experiencing pain and who have no hope for a better future. Amen.
